Rikair Co. Ltd donated 5,000 disposable medical coveralls to the Ghana Infectious Disease Centre (GIDC) at the Ga East Municipal Hospital at Kwabenya in Accra.
The donation was aimed at helping frontliners in the facility to protect themselves against covid as they discharge their daily duties.
For Rikair, supporting the hospital is very important to us because health workers are the frontline workers who face a variety of health risks to save patients. The donation is therefore Rikair’s way of supporting the facility in the fight against Covid-19.
Rikair also partnered with the Ghana Health Service to have an on-site oxygen plant at the GIDC to help the hospital get easy access to oxygen for patients.
